Helen Rose Adcock Greene, 84, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at her home.
A native of Granville County, she was the widow of Jack D. Greene being married for sixty years. Helen was the daughter of the late William B. Adcock and Mattie Smith Adcock. She was of the Baptist faith and was a healthcare provider at Murdoch Center in Butner.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor by Rev. Eddie Nutt. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens.
Surviving is a daughter, Patricia G. Smith (Roy, Jr.) of Raleigh, a son, William S. Greene (Nancy) of Stem, a sister, Effie Garrett of Creedmoor, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Clayton, Ruth Buchette, Lillie G. Beasley and three brothers, Vernon, McCoy and Carlton Adcock.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.
